STORING YOUR SCARIFIER/AERATOR
Please follow the following steps to store your device after each use and at the end of the season:
•
Clean the machine as described in the last section.
•
Inspect the rollers and repair or change them if needed (see the start of the "Maintenance" section).
•
Grease and lubricate the moving parts.
•
Put the cutting depth in the transport position.
•
Store the electrical device in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children. Avoid storing it near cor-
rosive substances such as fertilizers, thinners or fuels.
•
Always let the machine cool down before tidying away.
•
Do not cover your machine with a waterproof tarpaulin; via condensation, the humidity retained may
damage the metal and electronic components of your appliance.
•
At the end of the season, in addition to the previous instructions, it is essential that you protect your
machine from freezing and moisture. You can fold down the different parts of the handle, loosening
the fasteners.
RECYCLING AN ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE
Your electrical device may contain components that are dangerous for the environment and should not be
disposed of in nature or mixed with your household waste. To avoid any risk to the planet, here's how to
dispose of your device:
•
Cover the pins of the plug with tape.
•
Do not attempt to disassemble or access the components inside the device.
•
Do not burn the device.
•
Dispose the device and components in an authorised recycling centre.
