Connect the saw to a dust collection device and ensure
that it is opera ted properly. As the opera tor of the saw,
please make sure that you understand factors that
in uence exposure to dust, including the type of material
to be machined, the importance of local extraction and
the proper adj ustment of hoods
dust extraction system. We recomme nd that you always
wear a dust mask when opera ting this saw.

Wear gloves when handling saw blade s and rough
materia ls.
Saw blades shall be carried in a holder wherever possible.
Select saw blade s in relation to the materia l bei ng cut.
Use correctly sharpe ned saw blade s and observe the
maximum speed marked on the blade.
Take addi tional care when trenching (slott ing) .
The mitre saw can be safe ly carried by the carrying
handle but only once it has been removed from the
mai ns power and secured in the locked down position.
Ensure that the arm is properly secure when bevelling.

Keep the oor area around the machine level, well
mai ntai ned and free of loose materia ls.
•
Ensure that you are trained in the use, adj ustment and
opera tion of the machine.
Do not remove any cut-offs from the cutt ing area unt il
•
the guard is fully locked in placed and the blade has
come to rest.
•
When cutt ing long piece s which extend well over the
table width, ensure that the ends are adeq uately
supported at the same height as the saw table top.
•
Supports should be positioned in such a way to
ensure that the workpiece does not fall to the ground
once the cut has been mad e. A number of supports at
regular intervals may be required if the workpiece is
extremely long.
