Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is the unit of measurement for the absorbed radio amount
when using mobile devices. SAR tests are conducted in standard operating positions
with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level, however, actual SAR level
of the phone while operating can be well below maximum value. In general, the closer
you are to a base station, the lower phone power is being reduced.
SAR values may vary, depending on the phone being used. To ensure safety and health
of users, phone is designed and manufactured to meet radio exposure guidelines.
Recommended SAR limit by the Council of the European Union for mobile devices used
by the general public is 2 W/kg and the highest SAR value for this device, which was
tested for use at the ear is for SAR below the recommended limit.
