Hold the tool's switch handle and the aux-
iliary handle firmly with both hands during
installation. Hold in the auxiliary handle in
position and aim at hole in the gear box. In-
stall the bolts and tighten them with the hex
wrench. The auxiliary handle can be installed
in two different directions; whichever is con-
venient for your work (left & right).

CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged before adjust-
ing or checking function on the tool.

Install the wool bonnet (5) by simply put the
woolen pad over the polishing disc. Let it op-
erate for more than three minutes for check-
ing it up without load.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE START OPERATION
SHAFT LOCK
CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged before adjust-
ing or checking function on the tool.
CAUTION: Never actuate the shaft lock
when the spindle is moving. The tool may
be damaged. Press the shaft lock to prevent
spindle rotation when installing or removing
accessories.

the
polishing
plate

on the spindle and
rotate clockwise to
tighten (4).
SWITCH ACTION
To start the tool, follow the next steps:
1. Push the UNLOCK/
LOCK ON BUTTON to-
wards the tool (for-
ward).
2. Push up the ON/OFF
switch, then the ma-
chine will start to run.
NOTE: If you release the switch, the machine
will stop.
3. When the machine start, push forward the
unlock/lock button for continuous operation.
4. While in continuous operation, press the
ON/OFF switch to stop altogether.
SPEED ADJUSTING DIAL
The tool speed can be changed by turning
the speed adjusting dial to a given number
of stops from 0 to 3000 RPM.
CAUTION: If the tool is operated continu-
ously at low speeds for a long time, the mo-
tor will get overloaded, resulting in tool
malfunction. The speed adjusting dial can be
turned only as far as 3000 and back to 0.
Higher speed is obtained
when the dial is turned in
the direction max speed.
And lower speed is ob-
tained when it is turned
in the direction of num-
ber 1.
OPERATION
CAUTION: Always wear safety glasses or a
face shield during operation.
Hold the tool firmly. Turn the tool on and
then apply the wool bonnet to the work-
piece.
In general, keep the
wool bonnet at an
angle of about 15
degrees to the work-
piece surface. Apply
slight pressure only.
Excessive pressure will result in poor perfor-
mance and premature wear to wool bonnet.
Polishing tips
• Ensure that the area to be polished is clean
and dry.
