OPERATION - Fondue
You can use the forks (7) and/or skewers (6) to dip almost anything into the warm chocolate. For example:
fruit, long fingers, small pancakes or biscuits? Everything tastes delicious when it's covered in a layer of
warm chocolate.
1. Set the switch, when the chocolate has already been melted, to position 'II.'
2. If necessary, prick the food onto a fork or skewer first. You will then avoid the risk of burning yourself.
3. Dip the food into the liquid chocolate.
ATTENTION:
•
To liquify the chocolate more easily, you can add 50 ml of unwhipped cream to 200 grams of chocolate.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Thoroughly clean the appliance and the separate components after use.
1. Turn off the motor and the heating element and remove the plug from the plugsocket.
2. Cleaning the chocolate melting pot:
a. Allow the chocolate melting pot to cool down, but not so much that the chocolate solidifies. The
chocolate is easier to remove whilst it is still liquid.
b. Thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the bowl with hot water to which a little washing-up liquid
has been added. Do NOT use scourers. Then dry them thoroughly.
3. Clean the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth, if necessary with an additional couple of drops of
washing-up liquid. After cleaning, dry the unit thoroughly.
ATTENTION:
•
Use an oven mitt when taking out the bowl when it is still warm.
•
Do not save any leftover chocolate for later use.
•
Verify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply when you clean it.
•
Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to
clean the appliance.
