[05] Turn the function selector knob to the appropriate setting to prepare of your recipe.
[06] Turn the timer control knob to the desired time to prepare recipe.
Selecting the "Timer" or "Keep On" Function
[01] To select the "Keep On" Function, turn the time control knob counterclockwise to the
"KEEP ON" position. The unit will remain on (at the selected temperature and function) until
you turn it off manually.
[02] To select the Timer Function (the time the oven will stay automatically on), turn the timer
control knob clockwise to the desired time. The Timer allows you to select a preparation time
from 0 to 120 min (minutes). At the end of the cooking time, a bell signal sounds, and the
toaster oven turns off automatically.
Selecting the "Bake/Toast" Function
Select desired rack position. (See "Rack" Section)
[01] Place food on Wire Racks. For best baking/toasting results, position the rack in the upper
position. **
[02] Close glass door completely.
[03] Turn the Function dial to "Bake/Toast"
. Both the top and bottom heater elements will
operate.
[04] Turn the temperature control knob to desired setting.
[05] To set the timer, turn the timer past the 20 min (minutes) mark to engage timer switch and
set to desired cook time.
[06] When baking/toasting is complete, a bell will sound. Open door completely and remove
food.
** WARNING: Cooked food and metal rack can be very hot, handle with care. Do not
leave Toaster Oven unattended.
Tips For Saving Energy
Although the energy used in the kitchen usually represents a very small percentage of the
total energy used in the home, this energy can be used efficiently. Here are some tips to help
you save energy when using your toaster oven in the kitchen:
"Monitoring the roasting process in the oven" by opening the door can cause heat loss, longer
cooking time and poor cooking results. Monitor the roasting process through the glass door
of your toaster oven.
Bake cakes, pies or cookies when the toaster oven is hot. The best time to bake is right after
a meal has been prepared in the toaster oven.
Plan your meals for the most efficient use of the toaster oven. When using the toaster oven to
prepare a specific food, try to prepare the rest of the meal in it as well.
For longer cooking times, turn off the heat for 5 to 10 min (minutes) before finishing. This
