Important safeguards
DO NOT overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral
convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fi re or
electric shock.
DO NOT attempt to change accessories while the stick vacuum is
running.
DO NOT use the stick vacuum without dust collection box in place.
DO NOT pick up liquids with the stick vacuum or use on wet fl oors.
DO NOT expose it to dripping or splashing water. Do not use the
product near water (bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry
tub, swimming pool) or in a damp basement.
DO NOT handle the plug or the stick vacuum with wet hands.
DO NOT put any object into openings. Do not use with any
opening blocked. Keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that
may reduce air fl ow. Do not pick up anything that is burning or
smoking, such as cigarettes, or hot ashes.
DO NOT pick up pieces of string or fabrics with the stick vacuum or
clean frayed carpets or tassels on carpets with the stick vacuum.
DO NOT use the stick vacuum on concrete, tar, or similar rough
surfaces.
DO NOT use the stick vacuum to pick up fl ammable or combustible
liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be
present.
DO NOT abuse the power cord. Never carry the stick vacuum by the
power cord or pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the
outlet. Instead pull the outlet plug to disconnect.
DO NOT leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet
when not in use and before servicing.
DO NOT pull or carry by cord, use as a handle, close a door on cord, or
pull cord around sharp edges or corners, run appliance over cord.
