Instructions for the care
and maintenance of your
product
4.1 Care and cleaning guide
Care and cleaning of your range are
important so it will provide an
efficient and satisfactory service.
IF YOUR RANGE IS
EQUIPPED WITH
ELECTRONIC IGNITION,
UNPLUG IT FROM THE
POWER SUPPLY BEFORE
CLEANING ANY PART. DO
NOT USE CAUSTIC SODA
OR ANY PRODUCT
CONTAINING IT AS THIS
CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE
THE FINISH OF THE
RANGE.
Exterior Finish
It is necessary to keep the range
always clean. Generally it will be
enough to use water, soap and a
damp cloth, rinsing it frequently in
clear water to avoid soap residues.
Some parts will require a different
procedure.
Glass lid
(See features by model chart, at the
end of the manual.)
Wash the glass lid with soapy water,
rinse and remove the excess with a
damp cloth.
For best results, after cleaning apply
a liquid window cleaner with a damp
cloth spreading it on the surface.
Remove the excess with a dry cloth.
Cleaning the cooktop
When cleaning the cooktop, always
follow these instructions to prevent
operation problems with burners
and to remove stains and dirt:
Make sure the cooktop is
1
NOT hot.
To prevent spilling water,
2
soap, food, etc. into the
range, leave the cooktop
burners in their place during
the cleaning procedure.
Clean the cooktop using a
3
degreaser that DOES NOT
CONTAIN CAUSTIC SODA
(sodium hydroxide). Follow
the instructions in the
product packaging.
