Lever (17) adjusts the cutting height.
Turning the lever in one direction or the
other raises or lowers the blade holder
roller.
If the cutting height is set too low, the
following negative effects could occur:
- foreign objects such as stones etc.
could get thrown outwards
- earth and mud could accumulate
inside the rotor safety guard. As a
result the grass cannot get unloaded
regularly.
- fast wear of the blades and risk of
them breaking.
The front guard (Fig. 5.14) opens or
closes depending on the volume of
grass to cut.
STOP :
You should NEVER use the machine
with the protection cover left open.
This could cause projection of
objects. The protection can be fixed
in the open position only during the
substitution of the knives with the
engine completely switched off.
CAUTION :
When the blade rotor is working,
please always make sure that there
is nobody near the blade rotor (Fig.
5.15).
