• Harness straps need to be even with or
just above the top of child's shoulders and
chest clip is at armpit level.
• Body support must be used up to 22 lb
(9.9 kg) but not over 30 lb (14 kg).
• If child's weight is over 65 lb (30 kg) or
height is greater than 49 in. (125 cm), seat
must only be used in upright position.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
and NHTSA recommend that children should
use the built-in harness system for as long
as possible until they reach the maximum
forward-facing weight and height for their car
seat. This car seat can remain forward-facing
using the built-in harness system for children
up to 80 lb (36 kg) and 52" (132 cm).
