The installer must read this manual
closely before start-up.
The operator should be an adult and
fully competent person.
Should any anomaly occur, please
contact your distributor.
Start-up
1. Check that the voltage is the same
as that indicated on nameplate of
the machine.
2. Fill the water tank with fresh water
(see figure 1). Check that the
water inlet tube is immersed in
the tank.
NB! We recommend using water
with a low mineral content. The
quality of the water will affect the taste
and quality of your coffee as well as
help avoid future malfunctions. Check
out our especial anti-lime scale filters
(optional).
3. Make sure that there is enough
water in the tank. Running the
machine without water may
damage the pump. Water levels
should be checked visually.
IMPORTANT:
UNO/DUO models. When turned
on for the first time, the machine
enters start-up mode. The pilot light
comes on and

flashes while
the machine heats up, until the right
temperature is reached. During this
process no service can be provided.
A.) Using the machine for the
first time or after a long interval.
Replacing the water in the circuit.
1. Turn the coffee maker on with the
general switch

2. Attach the empty filter holder
with a receptacle underneath.
3. Press the coffee switch
approximately half a tank of clean
water flow through.
B.) PRIMING.
• If no coffee comes out.
• After a period without use.
• After generating steam.
• If the tank has been emptied.
In the DUO/TRIO model, repeat
point A).
In the UNO model, the priming
procedure should be carried out:
1. With the coffee maker on, turn on
the steam tap

2. Turn on the water function
and release some water (a cup)
through the steam wand
3. Turn off the water function
turn off the steam tap
coffee maker is now ready to use.
UNO model only
C.) After producing steam, wait
5 minutes before making coffee.
Or carry out the priming operation,
but let the water flow (point B2) until
the temperature pilot light
flashing.
