3.3. Discharge pipe assembly
It is recommended to use pipes with a diameter
equal or greater than the pump outlet. This will
reduce loss of head caused by friction in longer pipe
runs.
Pipework must be supported
not rest on the pump.
3.4. Electrical connection
The electrical installation must have a multi-
pole isolator with minimum 3 mm contact
openings, The protection of the system will be
based on a differential switch (Δfn = 30 mA)
The equipment is supplied with a power cord with
plug. Do not tamper with the equipment.
The power supply socket for the apparatus must be
at least 3.5m from the pool.
The single-phase motors have built-in
thermal protection. The Noxplus electronics
protect the motor against overload.
Follow the instructions in figure 1 for correct
electrical installation.
3.5. Pre-start checks
Ensure the voltage and frequency of the
supply corresponds to the values indicated on
the electrical data label.
Ensure that the pump shaft is rotating freely.
Fill the pump body with water through the filter cover
to the bottom level of the suction line.
Check all joints and connections for leaks.
Set the prefilter cover back in place and screw it to a
suitable tightness.
THIS PUMP MUST NEVER BE DRY RUN.
The manufacturer declines any liability for
damage caused by incorrect connections.
4. STARTING
Open all shut-off valves in the pipes, both suction
and delivery.
Switch on the power supply. The LINE voltage
indicator will light up. The pump will start
automatically in START-UP mode.
It may take a few seconds for the water to run
through the entire length of pipe.
Check the direction of rotation of the motor, this
should be clockwise as seen from the fan. If this is
not the case, contact the official technical service.
Check that the current absorbed is equal to or less
than the maximum current indicated on the
nameplate.
If the motor does not work or does not draw water,
try to find out the anomaly by means of the list of the
most common possible faults and their possible
solutions provided on the following pages.

During pump operation, the indicator corresponding
to the selected operating speed will light up.
START-UP (BOOTING):
Every time the pump is powered up for the first time
or after a disconnection, it will perform a 5-minute
cycle at maximum speed (High Speed) to promote
water movement and increase the efficiency of the
function being performed by the unit (filtration,
backwashing, rinsing, ...).
This cycle lasts 5 minutes and can be stopped by
pressing the SPEED/STOP button.
period the pump leds will flash constantly.
pump finishes this cycle, it will automatically change
its speed back to the same speed it was set at before
it was switched off, whether HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW
and the leds will remain in a fixed position.
4.1. Operation
ON/OFF button
When pressed, the motor stops. The LINE led
remains illuminated.
When pressed again, the pump resumes the
previously selected function.
The corresponding led lights up.
WARNING:
If, with the OFF button activated, the power supply is
cut off (e.g. due to the deactivation of a time
programmer), when the power is restored the pump
will return to the OFF function and the motor will not
start.
S button
Pressing the S key sequentially cycles through the
various speeds.
Between each speed, the pump stops to allow valve
movement or other operations.
The sequence is:
1. LOW speed.
2. Stop.
3. MEDIUM speed.
4. Stop.
5. HIGH speed.
6. Stop.
7. MEDIUM speed.
8. Stop.
9. LOW speed.
