Fitting instructions: Information for the patient
The instructions describe putting it on when sitting

Open the BOA
pulley system by pulling the rotary
®
knob (clicking noise). Pull the two brace elements
apart until the entire rope is pulled out of the
BOA
system. For simplified handling, one of the
®
brace elements can be fixed beneath your thigh
at the same time. Then, press the BOA
rotational mechanism back together again – when
engaging, you can perceive a clicking sound – the
rope take-up is now secure during the later course.

Tip: The arm cuff can be fixed beneath the thigh.
Pull the Velcro fasteners fully out of the arm cuff
guide loops.

Tip: Fix the long end of the chest strap beneath
the thigh.
Guide the index finger through the finger flap
and pull the guide loop up to the twist and click
fastener using the thumb and middle finger. This
extends the chest strap to its full length. The twist
and click fastener remains closed.
