Pay attention to the following points during maintenance:
Moisture: Avoid placing the transfer chair in a damp environment for long-term storage. Soaking in water or storing in
a damp environment will cause mechanical parts to rust easily and electronic components to corrode.
Temperature: In extremely low temperatures, the battery may freeze. Temperatures above 55°C may cause the lift
controller to overheat.
Routine check :
a)
Regularly check the connection between the battery and the control box to ensure that they are in good contact,
well connected, and secure.
b)
When the battery charge indicator is red, it means that the battery is very low and needs to be recharged imme-
diately. Try to avoid recharging when the battery is depleted. If the wheelchair is to be stored for a long time, it
should be charged at least once every 3 months.
c)
Regularly check that the nuts securing the four brake wheels, lifting devices, joints, etc. are not loose. If they are,
tighten them in time.
d) Regularly check that the battery bracket is completely sealed and that the control panel, buttons, and plastic parts
are intact. If cracks appear, stop using it and contact the dealer or manufacturer immediately.
Routine care
a) Avoid hitting or knocking the lifting column, especially the control panel.
b) Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh conditions, such as excessive heat, cold and humidity.
c)
Keep the control panel clean.
d) The surface of the frame of this product is coated with a smooth sealing layer. Users can use car wax to keep the
surface shiny.
e) The battery contacts should be kept clean and well connected to the contact pins. They should not be dirty or
loose.
f)
The wheel bearing has its own lubricant and has been sealed, so there is no need for the user to add lubricant.
Disinfection
Disinfection with alcohol should be carried out after use by different patients. Use a clean cloth or sponge containing
75% alcohol to gently wipe the material that patients may touch, without wiping vigorously in the same position. (Note:
During use, be careful not to spill high concentrations of alcohol, and the concentration of alcohol in the air should not
exceed 3% to avoid fire)
Daily care after use :
a) If not used for a long time, please remove the battery.
b) When cleaning the lift, wipe it with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners to avoid discoloration and
deformation of structural parts.
c)
After using the bed tray, remove it to clean it in time. The seat frame can be cleaned with clean water or wiped
with a towel.
d) The cushion cover can be removed and cleaned and can be used after drying.
e) The bedpan should only be hooked to the seat frame when necessary, so as not to affect the opening and closing
of the backrest/seat.
f)
After showering with the chair, wipe the surface with a soft cloth as soon as possible and place it in a ventilated
area to keep the lift dry.
