1. SAFETY WARNINGS
ො This appliance is not intended for being used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This ap-
pliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and maintenance shall not be performed by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical cir-
cuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid risks, it should be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, maintenance department or similar sector professionals.
ො This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
ො Only the appropriate connector must be used.
ො Do not use attachments not recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before as-
sembling, disassembling or cleaning.
ො To protect against electric shocks, do not immerse the cord, the plug or the fan into
water or any other liquid.
ො Do not use outdoors.
ො Do not pull the plug out of the socket by pulling the connection cord.
ො Always use your appliance on a suitable level and dry platform.
ො Avoid using an appliance where it can fall or be pushed into water.
ො Never reach for an appliance after it has fallen into water. Switch off at the mains power
and unplug immediately.
ො Never attempt to insert any object through the grille when the fan is operating.
ො Always disconnect the fan when moving from one location to another.
ො Do not cover the grille.
