cause serious hazards

The most important safety device for this and
for any tool is YOU.
Your care and good judgement are the best protec-
tion against injury.
This power tool must not be modified for product
liability and safety reasons. Only qualified and
trained operators should install, adjust or use this
tool.

we highlight some of the most important. For addi-
tional safety information consult:

Safety signal words
The safety signal words Danger, Warning, Caution,
and Notice have the following meanings:
DANGER
DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which,
if not avoided, will result in death or serious in-
jury.
WARNING
WARNING indicates a hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
CAUTION
CAUTION, used with the safety alert symbol,
indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE
NOTICE is used to address practices not related
to personal injury.

Personal precautions and qualifications
Installation, storage, maintenance and dis-
posal
Installation, storage, maintenance and disposal of
the product may only be undertaken by persons who:
• are physically able to handle the bulk, weight and
power of the tool
• are aware of all the relevant national safety instruc-
tions and accident prevention instructions
• have read and understood the operating instruc-
tions
Operation
Operation of the product may only be undertaken by
qualified operators. Operators are qualified if they:
• are physically able to handle the bulk, weight and
power of the tool
• are trained to operate the product in conformity
with national directives
• are aware of all the relevant national safety instruc-
tions and accident prevention instructions
• have read and understood operating instructions
