The following fragrances by "img Stage Line" can be
added to the fog fluid:
Item
Fragrance
NF-32
vanilla
NF-52
coconut
NF-62
fruit mix
NF-72
strawberry
A bottle of fragrance (contents 25 ml) is sufficient for
5 litres of fog fluid. Never add more fragrance as other-
wise the fog machine may get clogged.
Caution!
When filling up fog fluid, the unit must not be con-
nected to the mains. First disconnect the mains
plug from the mains socket!
The unit is not splashproof. If fluid penetrates the
inside of the housing by accident, do not set the fog
machine into operation but have it first checked
and cleaned by skilled, authorized personnel.
1) Screw off the tank cap (3).
2) Fill in the fog fluid. If fluid should flow beside the
tank, immediately wipe it off with a dry cloth so that
it will not get inside the unit.
3) Tightly close the tank.
4.2 Setting-up or mounting
In any case observe the following items:
To avoid heat accumulation within the unit, the
place of setting-up or mounting must be chosen so
that a sufficient air circulation is ensured during
operation. The vents at the housing must not be
covered (e. g. by curtains). Keep a minimum dis-
tance of 20 cm to other objects.
During operation the output nozzle for the fog
becomes very hot. Do not touch it and pay atten-
tion that it has a sufficient distance (at least 50 cm)
to easily inflammable materials or materials sensi-
tive to heat.
Adjust the unit so that the hot fog stream will not
directly hit persons – risk of burning!
1) Remove the complete packing material. There
must be no packing remnants at the output nozzle
for the fog.
2) Place the unit on a horizontal surface so that no
fluid may leak.
The fog machine can also be mounted in a sus-
pended way. With a support for light radiating units
or a stable mounting screw fix the unit via its bracket
(1) to the desired place (e. g. to the crossbar of a
lighting stand). For slightly readjusting the unit,
release the two knob screws (4) at the bracket,
slightly incline the unit (the angle of inclination must
not exceed 15°!) and retighten the screws.
Order No.
4.3 Operation
38.1780
Never operate the fog machine without fog fluid.
38.1790
There will be a risk of fire by overheating. In addition,
38.1800
the unit may be damaged. Always observe the fluid
level indication (8).
38.1810
1) The fog machine must sufficiently be filled with fog
fluid. Check the indication of the fluid level (8) and
fill up the tank with fog fluid, if necessary – see
chapter 4.1.
2) Connect the plug (11) of the remote control to the
jack (2) of the fog machine.
3) Connect the unit via the mains cable (5) to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz) and switch it on with the on/
off switch (7) [the switch lights up during operation].
The fog machine heats up for approx. 4 minutes.
Only then fog may be emitted.
4) As soon as the indication (9) on the remote control
lights up, the heating-up is finished and fog can be
emitted. For this purpose keep the button (10) on
the remote control pressed. As long as it is kept
pressed, fog will be emitted.
Caution! By subsequent dripping of the fluid, the
5) Fog can continuously be emitted until the indication
(9) is extinguished. Then the unit must heat up
again. During heating-up no fog can be emitted.
Even if no fog is emitted, the unit must heat up in
the meantime.
6) After operation switch off the unit with the switch (7)
[switch is extinguished] and disconnect the plug of
the mains cable (5) from the mains socket if the unit
is not used for a longer time.
Caution! By subsequent dripping of fluid, the unit

may still emit fog shortly for a while even
after switching off.
