General safety instructions
HInstallation, commissioning, maintenance
Installation, commissioning and maintenance may be performed only by
an approved contractor.
▶ Install and commission cylinders and their accessories according to
the relevant installation instructions.
▶ To reduce oxygen permeation and therefore corrosion to a minimum,
do not use vapour-permeable components! Never use open, vented
expansion vessels.
▶ Never close the pressure relief valve.
▶ Use only original spare parts.
HRisk of scalding
▶ When the cylinder is in operation, temperatures in excess of 60 °C
can occur. Therefore, allow the cylinder to cool down prior to carrying
out any work on the solar or heating circuit.
▶ Activate the automatic air vent valve only after the temperature of the
heat transfer fluid and the heating water has dropped below 60 °C.
