1.
Separate the air motor from pump, following the appropriate
procedure (page 5).
2. Unscrew the packing nut (66) and lift it from the packing rod (72). The
seal (67) should be stayed with the packing nut, if it stayed in the
pump, slide it up the packing rod gently until is free.
3. Examine the packing nut (66) and the rod (72) for wear and or
damage as if they are defective any new packing rod seal will fail. If
the nut is faulty this will replaced now, but if the rod is faulty the
pump will have to be completely dismantled (please, follow the
section clean and replace piston valve) page 11.
4. Fit a new o-seal (68). Replace the packing rod seal (67) to the packing
nut (66), lightly greasing the seals to aid assembly.
5. Push the nut (66) and seals over the packing rod (72) until the nut
thread engages with the outlet body thread (70). Assemble the pump
following first section (separate the air motor from the pump),
reversing each step.

1. Separe la bomba del motor, seguir los pasos del procedimiento correspondiente (pág. 5).
2. Desenrosque el casquillo portajuntas (66) y retire del vástago (72). La junta (67) debería estar dentro del casquillo portajuntas. De no ser así,
deslice suavemente la junta a través del vástago hasta liberarla.
3. Examine el casquillo (66) y el vástago (72) en busca de desgaste y daños, si estos son defectuosos cualquier junta nueva fallará. De existir daños en
la superficie cromada del vástago es necesario que desmonte la bomba completamente (véase sección limpieza y sustitución del pistón) pag. 11.
4. Sustituya la junta tórica (68). Reemplace el collarín (67) del casquillo portajuntas (66), engrase ligeramente las juntas para el ensamble.
5. Empuje suavemente el casquillo (66) con la nueva junta a través del vástago (72) hasta juntar la rosca del cuerpo de salida (70) con el casquillo porta-
juntas. Vuelva a montar la bomba siguiendo los pasos del apartado (cómo separar el motor de la bomba) en orden contrario.

1. Place the main pump tube (80) in a vice use a strap or chain wrench
to unscrew the foot valve body (83) from the tube. Do not damage
the tube by over tightening the vice.
2. Remove the inlet valve ball stop (81), now you can remove the ball
(82). Examine the ball (82) and the seat in foot valve (83) for any
damage. Replace if it´s necessary.
3. Fit a new o-seal (71).
4. Assembly the foot valve following this section, reversing each step.

1. Sitúe el cilindro (80) en un tornillo de banco. Con la ayuda de una
llave de cadena desenrosque la válvula de entrada (83) del cilindro.
No dañe el cilindro con un apriete excesivo del tornillo de banco.
2. Retire el tope de la bola (81), ahora puede extraer la bola (82) del
cuerpo. Examine la bola (82) y el asiento de cuerpo (83) en busca de
daños. Reemplace si es necesario.
3. Reemplace la junta tórica (71).
4. Ensamble la válvula siguiendo los pasos anteriores, en orden contrario.
