Switching Off Unit for Long Periods
Sometimes the unit will need to be powered down for extended peri-
ods, for example, if unit is left in a vacation home or cabin when it's not
in use. In these cases, to prevent the unit from collecting mold, follow
these steps:
1. Remove all food.
2. Unplug unit. Coil up power chord. Fasten it with rubber bands, or
twist ties.
3. Thoroughly clean and dry the interior of the unit.
4. Ensure doors remain ajar so air can circulate within.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you are experiencing difficulties with your appliance or are concerned
that it is not functioning correctly, refer to the troubleshooting table
below before calling for service. Your issue may be easily fixed.
Warning! If problems persist, do not try and repair freezer yourself.
Contact a qualified electrician, or authorized service technician in order
to restore the unit's functionality.

• Check power chord is plugged in.
• Check the fuse or circuit of your power sup-
ply, replace if needed.
• The ambient temperature is too low. Set
unit temperature to colder setting.
• It is normal that the freezer does not operate
during the defrost cycle, or after the appli-
ance is switched on, in order to protect the
compressor.
• The interior may need to be cleaned.
• There are open food containers.
