Adjusting the Drilling Depth (see figure D)
The button (1) for depth stop adjustment can be used to set
the required drilling depth X.
– Press the button (1) and slide the button on the guide (2)
so that the distance X shown in the illustration matches
your required drilling depth.
– Release the button (1) again.
Changing the dust cap (see figure E)
You must change the dust cap (8) if its wall contact surface
shows clear signs of wear and is causing dust to escape
through the extraction brush during extraction.
– Press the locking button (12) and pull the dust cap (8)
out of the holder.
– Insert the new dust cap into the holder until the locking
button audibly engages.
Emptying the Dust Box (see figures F1−F4)
Note: Wear a dust mask when performing maintenance and
cleaning on the dust box.
Empty the dust box (13) regularly as well as after completing
your work, in order to ensure that the dust extraction attach-
ment continues to perform optimally. The viewing
window (7) enables you to check how full the dust box is.
– Hold the power tool with the dust extraction attachment
horizontally and switch on the power tool for a few
seconds.
This will cause residual dust to be sucked out of the ex-
traction channel into the dust box (13).
– Press both the left-hand and right-hand release
buttons (5) and swivel the dust box (13) out of the dust
extraction attachment.
– If necessary, take the HEPA filter (14) out of the dust box
and carefully tap it out or brush down the filter flaps with
a soft brush.
Note: Do not clean the HEPA filter with water and do not
use compressed air to blow it clean.
– Shake out the dust box (13) over a suitable waste bin.
– Put the HEPA filter (14) back in the dust box (13) after
cleaning it. Then swivel the dust box into the dust extrac-
tion attachment until the release buttons (5) audibly en-
gage.
