6.- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CRANE
6.1.- Cleaning and disinfection
•
Make sure that the crane is immobilized and disconnected from the electrical network and with the
emergency stop pressed.
•
Never wash the crane with abundant water, or with a high pressure jet, or in a washing tunnel.
•
Do not use water at a temperature higher than 60º C.
•
Avoid any excess water on the connection pins.
•
Carefully dry the lift before using it again.
•
Use clean single-use or recyclable rags.
•
Use a diluted detergent or disinfectant solution or a disinfectant spray.
6.2.- Safety standards for maintenance
Maintenance operations may only be carried out by qualified and authorized technical personnel. Contact
your local Tecnimoem Care, SL distributor for any specific maintenance and/or technical service problem.
Before carrying out any repair or maintenance intervention:
•
Make sure that the crane is immobilized (if no movement is planned) and disconnected from the
electrical network.
•
Block the electrical functions by pressing the red stop button.
•
Never open or drill an electric motor.
6.3.- Preventive maintenance
In addition to the recommendations described in chapter 2, it is advisable to carry out an annual review in order
to keep the crane and its accessories in good condition. Especially:
•
Mechanisms and drive controls.
•
The joints of the different movements of the crane and its accessories.
•
The condition of electrical cables and the tightness of electrical appliances.
•
The state of the harness (possible wear, breakage, deformation...).
It is recommended to periodically grease the joints of the mobile parts of the crane.
The periodicity and frequency of the technical revisions must be adapted to the state of the crane and to the
particular conditions of use.
6.4.- List of spare parts
On request, the electrical equipment (battery, motor, controller, charging cable or control box), harness, wheels
and other components of the crane's metal structure can be replaced.
6.5.- Transport and storage
During the transfer of the crane, it must be in the low position, with functions deactivated and wheels blocked
and secured with straps, protected against the ingress of water or humidity (< 75%) and at a temperature
between -20º C and +50ºC.
