ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these safety instructions before using the
device and keep them carefully.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
Failure to follow the instructions in this manual may
result in injury.
! The generator corresponds to valid technical regula-
tions and standards.
! Do not allow children to handle the generator. Pre-
vent animals from accessing the device.
! Do not leave the generator unattended when it is
near children.
! Always switch off the generator in case of any pro-
blem while working, before any cleaning or mainte-
nance, every time it is moved and when not in use!
! Be careful not to let your fingers, clothing, hair or
any other part of your body come too close to the
exhaust or hot parts of the generator when it is on.
! Never operate the generator if it is damaged in any
way.
! Never place the generator near flammable substan-
ces.
! Do not work with the generator in a damp environ-
ment or outdoors during rain.
! Before each start-up, check the device to avoid
possible injury or damage to the device.
! Do not touch the rotating parts, ignition cables,
spark plugs, or mufflers of the generator while it is
operating.
! Exhaust gases are toxic. Never operate the device
in enclosed or unventilated areas.
! The running generator must be located at least
3 m from buildings or el. appliances.
The generator must stand in a safe and level place.
! Do not tilt, rotate or move the generator during
operation. There may be a fuel leak.
! Before transporting or transferring the generator to
another location, always disconnect any power. the
appliance from the generator and switch off the gene-
rator - turn the switch (7) to the „stop" position. Keep
the generator only in a horizontal position.
Max. the load may be as specified on the type plate
of the generator. Overloading will damage the device
or shorten its life.
Do not manipulate parts that increase or decrease
maintained performance.
When using extension cords, make sure they are
grounded and suitable for the equipment.
Do not cover the device during use.
Allow the engine to cool before storing the generator.
Before connecting the electrical load, the generator
must reach operating speed. Disconnect the load be-
fore turning off the generator. Switch off all connected
devices before stopping the generator.
It is forbidden to connect the device to another power
source.
If it is necessary to replace the fuse, it must be repla-
ced with one that has the same rated power and
parameters.
Prior to use, make sure that the generator has no
damaged hoses, loose or missing clamps, damaged
tank or cover. All faults must be rectified before use.
Do not allow the machine to run out of fuel while an
electrical load is connected.
Before transporting the generator, drain the fuel to
prevent it from spilling.
Store the generator in well-ventilated places without
fuel in the tank.
! Diesel fuel is highly flammable. Before refueling,
always switch off the engine.
! Store fuel in a cool place in a container specially
designed for this purpose (canister). Handle fuel with
care. It is highly flammable.
! Do not refuel in a closed room. Refuel before star-
ting the engine. Never remove the fuel tank cap or
add diesel to the tank while the engine is running. If
the engine is hot, allow it to cool for a few minutes
before refueling. If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to
start the engine. On the contrary, move the generator
away from the spill site and prevent possible ignition
of the fuel, i.e. clean the generator and wait until the
fuel vapors have evaporated.
• Diesel engines produce toxic carbon monoxide
exhaust, do not breathe the exhaust. Never operate
the unit in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area.
• Operate the unit on stable ground or fuel will leak
out.
! Never smoke when refueling or working with the
generator.
! Only refuel in a safe place. Open the fuel cap slowly
to release any pressure that may have been created
in the fuel tank. To prevent the possibility of fire, move
the unit at least 3 meters from the refueling point
before restarting.
! Do not overfill the fuel tank. Always screw on the
tank cap after refueling.
! When refueling, always check for fuel leaks. If you
find a fuel leak, do not start the engine. Do not start
the engine until you have identified the location of the
leak, resolved the problem, and wiped up the spilled
fuel.
! Make sure that fuel does not get on your clothes. If
this happens, change immediately.
! Do not tilt the generator. Tilting can cause fuel to
leak from the tank.
! The engine and exhaust reach temperatures that, if
touched, can cause skin burns, resp. may cause fire
in contact with combustible materials. Allow the engi-
ne to cool for at least 15 minutes before performing
maintenance. Do not touch the muffler or the engine
immediately after switching off the engine.
! On el. Only connect devices that are in good techni-
cal condition to the generator output.
! Never touch the device with wet hands. Caution -
there is a risk of electric shock. current
! Do not use the appliance to supply a stable socket
/ wiring (eg in a household when there is a power
failure).
! Do not connect the device to another generator (eg
