Installing ceiling template
➤ Align the large center hole to the rear.
➤ Remove the wire tie holdingcenter of rear aluminum bracket to plastic.
➤ Make sure that the thermostat bulb is not moved during installation.
➤ Plug the 9 pin cable from the unit and 3 pin heater cable into the ceiling template
(fig. 0).
➤ Position the ceiling template so that the drillings align with the bolts.
➤ Start mounting the bolts by hand (fig. a).
➤ Evenly tighten the bolts to a torque of 4,5 – 5,5 Nm.
✓ This will compress the roof gasket to approximately 13 mm.
The bolts are self locking so further tightening is not necessary.
Installing template duct adapter
➤ Pull duct down through the template opening.
➤ Cut the duct 13 mm to 25 mm below the template opening (fig. a2).
➤ Align the template duct adapter with the template duct hole making sure the
screw holes line up.
➤ Leave it on the loop of wire below the duct adapter groove.
➤ Insert template duct adapter into duct so that the grounding clips remain outside
the duct.
➤ Insert duct adapter into template and install 2 screws through the duct tabs into
the ceiling template (fig. b1).
Electrical connection
➤ Route the power supply line into the junction box on the ceiling template.
➤ Connect the power supply line to the air conditioner at the terminal block pro-
vided in the junction box. Connect white to white, black to black and green to
green or bare copper wire.
➤ Tighten the screw into the strain relief of the power supply line to hold it firmly in
place. Be careful not to pinch and damage wires (fig. c).
➤ Carefully push all excess wire back into the junction box.
➤ Install the snap cover in place (fig. d).
