The appliance becomes hot during operation. Allow the
appliance to cool down before cleaning.

cleaners, which can result in an electric shock.

Components inside the appliance may have sharp
edges. Wear protective gloves.
Caution!
Risk of surface damage: Do not use these cleaners
‒
harsh or abrasive cleaning agents
‒
oven cleaners
‒
corrosive or aggressive cleaners, or those
containing chlorine
‒
cleaning agents with a high alcohol content
‒
hard and scratchy sponges, brushes or scouring
pads
If such an agent comes into contact with the appliance,
wash it off immediately with water.
Thoroughly wash out new sponge cloths before using
them!
Cleaning the appliance
Note: The appliance's surface and operator controls are
sensitive to scratches. You can obtain suitable cleaning
and care agents for your appliance via the hotline or the
online shop. Observe the warranty provisions in the
attached service booklet and the following notes on
cleaning:

Clean the surfaces with a soft, moist cloth,
detergent or a mild window cleaner. Soften dried-on
soiling with a moist cloth. Do not scrape!

Clean stainless steel surfaces in the grind direction
only.
▯
Do not use a stainless steel cleaner for operator
controls.
Fitting and removing the metal grease
filter

Remove the ventilation grating.

Pull the metal grease filter up and out of the
appliance. Take out the positioning plate (if fitted).
Insertion is in the reverse sequence to removal. Insert
the positioning plate only if there is a side air outlet.
Insert the positioning plate such that the bend in the
middle is facing the air outlet.
