WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious
personal injury:
• Do not open or repair the device as it may expose you
to dangerous electrical components which may cause
serious bodily damage.
• Do not place, store or use the device near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
• Do not leave the device unattended while plugged in.
• Never look directly at the light coming from the device
applicator and lamp.
• Never use flammable liquids such as alcohol (including
perfumes, sanitizers, or other applications containing
alcohol) or acetone to clean the skin one hour before
using the device.
• Do not use the device if you have an active implant
such as a pacemaker, insulin pumps, or similar de-
vices.
• Do not use the device on tanned skin
or after sun exposure. Avoid exposure
to the sun for four weeks before using
this device.
• Do not use the device on naturally dark skin (see guid-
ance at the back cover and high Fitzpatrick level in the
"Who should use the device" section).
• Do not use the device if you have dark brown or black
spots such as freckles, birth marks, around the nip-
ples, moles or blisters on the area to be treated.
• Do not use the device on mucous membranes such
as nostrils, lips, eyelids, ears, genital areas or anus.
• Remove all piercings or metal items such as earrings
or jewelry before treatment.
• Do not use the device on tattoos or permanent make-
up.
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of personal injury or product/
property damage:
• Use the device only according to the instructions for use.
• Hair removal by lasers or intense pulsed light sources can
cause increased hair growth in some individuals. Based
upon currently available data, the highest risk group for
