Safety Precautions
Read this operation manual carefully before using to ensure correct use.
• The precautions shown here are classified into the following 2 types.
Observe all the following, since each contains important information regarding safety.

CAUTION
• The meanings of the "graphic symbols" used in the text are as follows.
Never attempt.
Never touch the product with
wet hands.
• Do not put your finger, a stick, or the like
into the air inlet, air outlet or the airflow
direction blade.
Doing so may result in injury as the fan runs
at high speed.
• Do not disassemble, modify, or repair.
Doing so may result in malfunction, water leak,
electric shock, or fire.
Make a request to your dealer.
• Do not use in places filled with vapour of
oil, such as cooking oil or machine oil.
Doing so may result in cracking, electric shock
or ignition of fire.
• Do not use in places with excessive
oil smoke such as cooking rooms, or in
places with flammable gas, corrosive gas,
or metallic dust.
Doing so may result in malfunction, electric
shock, or fire.
• Do not use any flammable gas (such as
hairspray and insecticide) near the unit.
Do not wipe the unit with benzine or
thinner.
Doing so may result in ignition of fire or
cracking.

Improper handling may most likely result in serious injury or death.

Precautions for Use
• Do not allow the intake of flammable gas,
hairspray, tobacco fumes, or incense fumes.
Doing so may result in combustion or
malfunction.
• Do not operate with wet hands.
Doing so may result in electric shock.
• When performing an inspection, be sure
to stop operation and turn off the power
breaker.
Failure to do so may result in electric shock or
injury.
• In the event of an anomaly (such as
burning smell), stop operation and turn off
the power breaker immediately.
Continuing operation with an anomaly may
result in malfunction, electric shock, or fire.
Contact your dealer.
• UV-C radiation is harmful when your eyes
and skin are exposed to them.
The rays can attribute to cataracts,
eye inflammation, premature macular
degeneration, blindness and skin cancer.
Be sure to establish an
earth connection.
