This equipment meets the following IEC classifications:
Pollution Degree 2 (See Note)
Installation Category II (See Note)
Equipment Class 1
Pollution level describes the degree to which a solid, liquid, or gas which
NOTE
deteriorates dielectric strength is adhering. Degree 2 applies to a normal indoor
atmosphere.
Installation category II implies the regulation for impulse withstand voltage. It is also
called the Over voltage category. Category II applies to electrical equipment.
This equipment requires the following space for ventilation, maintenances access,
and easy access to the Main Power Breaker Switch. There must be a clear space of
at least 60 cm (24") on all sides of the equipment. The bench in your laboratory
must be able to support the entire system and other laboratory equipment.
