(indicated by
) and place this on outlet "E". This will prevent dirt from
getting back into the filter can.
8. Now turn the crank several times. Water and dirt will be discharged. This concludes
the cleaning process.
9. You can now remove the crank again. Attach the hoses again and secure these
using the hose clamps. Remove the frosted glass panel from outlet "E" of the pond
pressure filter and insert this at outlet "F". Turn the function switch back to the
"Filter mode" position in order to switch the pond pressure filter back to normal
operation.
Cleaning the filter sponges
1. Remove the pond pressure filter's mains plug from the socket in order to
disconnect the pond pressure filter from the power supply.
2. Remove the pump's mains plug from the socket in order to disconnect it from the
power supply.
3. Remove all the hoses.
4. Open the pond pressure filter's pressure cap and remove the clamp ring.
5. Remove the lid together with the sponges. Place the lid with the top facing down
on a clean surface for cleaning (e.g. tarpaulin, film etc.). Please note that the base
may be dirty. The sponge may break due to signs of fatigue. This may lead to the
pond pressure filter no longer working properly. Check the sponges each time you
clean the unit.
6. Remove the screws and turn the filter base counterclockwise.
7. Remove the filter sponges and wash these under clear running water.
8. Clean the pond pressure filter tank by rinsing it out with a garden hose.
9. Do not use any detergent when cleaning. Wash the sponges and the pond pressure
filter using clear water only.
Ensure that the surface does not get wet. While this is protected against
splashes, it must be kept dry during operation in order to avoid any hazards.
10. Press the filter sponges back into the base.
11. Screw down the filter base and insert the screws again.

12.
There are spacers between the sponges. Ensure that the sponges
and spacers are sitting flush on top of one another. Gaps or
wedges will make reassembly very difficult and may even prevent
it.
13. Now close the unit again with the filter lid so that it is watertight.
14. Push the lid onto the base with a little force. To ensure the lid can be closed
properly, the tensioning ring must be positioned exactly in its guide.
15. Position the tensioning ring around the lid and base and seal it properly..
Replacing the UV-C tube
To maintain the full effectiveness of the pond pressure filter, the UV-C lamp must be
replaced after approx. 8,000 operating hours. This is the generally accepted standard
for UV-C tubes.
Do no touch the UV-C tube with your bare hands, as this can damage the tube.
1. Remove the pond pressure filter's mains plugs from the socket in order to
disconnect the pond pressure filter from the power supply.
2. Loosen the screws that are fixed in the lid of the pond pressure filter.
3. You must unscrew the handle too (loosen small screws).
4. Pull out the UV-C lamp and replace it.
5. Carefully press the new UV-C lamp into the shaft where the previous one was and
repeat the first steps in reverse order.
The UV-C lamp is a wear part and does not fall under the stated guarantee. If
the UV-C lamp does not come on, check the contact. If the screws are not screwed in
tightly enough, contact will not take place, and the UV-C lamp will not come on.
