ATTENTION! Read the safety and assembly instructions carefully, in order to
avoid the risk of injury or damaging the product.
Important: Read these instructions carefully and thoroughly. Keep these
instructions to read through at a later date. If you give the product to
anyone else at some point in the future, please ensure you also pass on this
manual

Keep small parts, plastic bags and other packaging out of the reach of children.
Pay attention especially when unpacking your item. Danger of suffocation!
Check the delivery for completeness. Later complaints cannot be accepted.
Check all elements and parts for damages. Despite careful control, products may be
damaged in transit. In this case, do not assemble your product. Defective parts can en-
danger your health.
Never modify the product! Changes will void the warranty and the product may be
unsafe or even dangerous.
Unpack all the parts and elements of the set and place the components on the top of
the carton or other clean surface. This protects your new product.
Please also pay attention not to scratch the floor while working with tools.
Make sure that this product is fully assembled before use, as shown in the illustration
For cleaning use a sponge and warm soapy water.
Do not use solvent based-cleaners or detergents - for example bleach. Those can dam-
age the product.
The pond pressure filter with integrated UV-C lamp is a sealed system for the biological
and mechanical filtering of pond water with a temperature of between +4 °C and
+35 °C. It is designed solely for household use to clean ponds without any fish stock.
The submersible pump contained in this set is designed to pump pond water with a
temperature of between +4 °C and +35 °C. It must be able to work unobstructed in the
pond (or similar small body of water).
Both devices are designed solely for private use in the house and garden and may
not be used commercially or industrially.

Intended Use
The device may not be used in swimming pools. Failure to comply with the rules
outlined here may lead to electric shocks, which may cause damage to property or
injury to persons. As such, it is important to handle the unit with care at all times. Only
qualified specialist personnel may carry out repairs on the unit.
Any damage resulting from a failure to comply with this will have the effect of
excluding the warranty.
Use the product only for its designed purpose of use. Manufacturer will not assume
any responsibility in case of damages cause of an unappropriated use. Any modification
applied by customer on the original product will have a negative impact on its safety,
cause danger and warranty will be canceled.
General safety notices
In the following, the word unit or units, as the case may be, refers to the pond pressure
filter and the pump, unless an explicit distinction is made.
•
Dangerous ultraviolet radiation: the rays emitted by the UV-C lamp are harmful to
the eyes and skin. Never use the UV-C lamp outside of the housing.
•
The pond pressure filter must be installed at least 1.20 m away from the pond
to prevent it from falling in or to prevent water splashing out of the pond from
damaging the unit.
•
The external pump must be switched on before the UV-C lamp. The UV-C lamp
should never be active without flowing water because the unit could be damaged
otherwise. By plugging in the cable on the pond pressure filter, you switch on the
UV-C lamp.
•
The extension and power cable must be inspected regularly. Defects or incompatible
cables may not be used.
•
The mains lead for this unit cannot be replaced. If there is damage to the cable,
the unit must be scrapped.
•
If the unit exhibits any damage, it should not be started up and must be repaired
by a qualified specialist.
•
Do not start up the unit if there are people in the water. If you are not using the
unit for an extended period, it must be stored in a dry location, protected from
weather exposure.
•
If overheating should occur, the built-in temperature sensor switches off the UV-C
lamp automatically. As soon as the temperature has fallen back within the normal
range, the UV-C lamp switches on again automatically.
•
Never open the housing or the UV-C lamp unless this is explicitly indicated in these
instructions. Failure to comply with this may lead to serious injury or damage to
the unit.
•
This device may only be operated at a suitable electrical connection. Observe the
