Changing the engraving tip

Always switch the appliance off before carrying out any work
on it .

Change the engraving tip q as soon as it becomes worn and no
longer delivers the desired engraving results . Turn the engraving
tip lock 0 anticlockwise (in the working direction) until the
engraving tip q can be removed . From below, remove the
engraving tip q from the engraving tip lock 0 .

Remove the spring and the washer .
♦
Slide the washer and spring onto a new engraving tip q .
Then insert them and turn the engraving tip lock 0 clockwise
(in working direction) to lock the tip in place .

Ensure that the engraving tip q is fixed correctly in place .

gentle pressure . To ascertain the ideal engraving speed, practice
on a spare piece of material .
