INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE

(F) WASHING

1.
Lower the squeegee.
2.
Lower the brush/pad by pressing the related
pedal.
3.
Position the solution flow control lever in the inter-
mediate position.
4.
Turn the master key switch*, brush switch and
suction switch to I position (ON).
5.
Adjust the required working speed with the poten-
tiometer*.
6.
Grip the operator handle bar and push the drive
panel.
Push drive panel forward = machine moves
forward
Pull drive panel in reverse = machine moves
in reverse
7.
For best results, work at a slow speed or make a
double scrub action.
CAUTION!
To avoid damaging the floor, the brush
motor is automatically switched OFF
when standing on the spot.
8.
An automatic float shut-off system locks the
suction system once the recovery tank is full. The
machine will not pick up water with the float closet.
9.
Turn the brush switch OFF before raising the
brush.
10. Move the machine to a designated "DISPOSAL
AREA". Empty the recovery tank via the drain
hose. Rinse the tank afterwards with clean water.
(G) TRACTION CONTROL (BA5321 without
drive motor)
The forward traction can be adjusted with two set
screws on the brush deck, depending on the floor con-
ditions and on the use of the brush or the pad.
By turning the knob on the left side of the head it is pos-
sible to adjust the machine speed (with the brush ope-
rating) (clockwise = the machine moves faster)
By turning the adjusting knob on the center of the head
it is possible to correct the machine side-deviation
(counter-clockwise = the machine moves on the left)

(H) AFTER USE

1.
Turn brush and suction switch, and the key (*) to
0 position (OFF).
2.
Lift the brush/pad-holder head and the suction
squeegee.
3.
Empty the solution and recovery tank into a
designated "DISPOSAL AREA" and rinse with
clean water.
* only for BA5321D/BA6124D

To release the brushes from the head, at the end of the
work, perform the following operations:

Turn the brush switch to I position (ON)
5.
Press the release push-button
6.
Keep the release push-button pressed, press for
few seconds and then release the drive panel.
7.
If necessary, repeat the operation No. 6 until both
brushes fall to the ground.
8.
Rinse the brush/es with clean water and store it
dry.
9.
Remove the squeegee and rinse it with clean
water.
10. Check the maintenance schedule and perform
any required maintenance before storage.
11. Store the machine in a clean, dry place.
CAUTION!
DO NOT TILT THE TANK BACKWARDS
BEFORE EMPTYING IT

(I) BATTERY DISCHARGE CONTROL

A special protection device prevents batteries from
being discharged too much.
– Flashing RED LIGHT:
Battery must be charged
– Constant RED LIGHT:
Brush motor will stop after 2 minutes
Suction motor will stop after 10 minutes
Machine should be used again after the batteries are
fully charged.

BATTERY CHARGE

REMARK:
Charge the batteries when the warning li-
ght (6, Fig. A) turns on and at the end of
every cleaning.
Keeping the batteries charged make their
life last longer.
CAUTION!
When the batteries are discharged, re-
charge them as soon as possible, as that
condition makes their life shorter.
Check for battery charge at least once a
week.
