Keep all nuts and bolts tight so that the power tool is in safe
operating condition.
If components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance work, they must be reinstalled correctly and
immediately. Servicing double insulated power tools
requires extreme care and knowledge of the system and
should only be carried out by a qualified person.
Replacement of components of a double insulated power
tool must be carried out using identical parts to the original.
Use only VITO-approved accessories for this machine or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the drywall sander. If in
doubt, if you lack knowledge or resources, you should
contact an official dealer.
Your drywall sander should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts.
The auxiliary handle can be fitted in two different positions
to adapt the power tool to the work to be carried out and to
the user.
1. Insert the bolt of the auxiliary handle (11) into one of the
threads and tighten the auxiliary handle clockwise.
1. Insert the suction hose connector into the dust bag;
2. Adjust the hose to the fitting on the collection bag and
insert the tabs into the fixing holes;
3. Fit the suction hose connector to the dust port of the
sander (10).
1. Insert the hex key into the Velcro pad fixing bolt;
2. Hold the Velcro pad firmly and turn the key
counterclockwise to loosen the fixing bolt;
3. Remove the Velcro pad and replace it with a new one;
4. Ensure that the pad is properly secured on the rotation
shaft. While holding the pad and tighten the fixing bolt
clockwise.
Do not use sanding discs that are larger than the technical
data of the sander. Sanding discs that are larger than the
Velcro pad can cause jamming, kickbacks and accidents
causing injury to the user.
Choose the sanding disc (type of grit) according to the work
you are going to perform.
1. Remove the worn sanding disc. Remove part of the disc,
hold the Velcro pad with the other hand and then pull
out the rest;
2. Fit the sanding disc over the Velcro pad. The holes of the
sanding disc must match the holes of the Velcro pad.
Otherwise, the suction capacity decreases, and dust
formation increases;
3. To attach the sanding disc to the Velcro pad, press over
the entire area of the disc.
