Safety instructions when handling gasoline
Gasoline is extremely flammable and its fumes may explode when coming into contact with a heat source. Please
ensure the following safety measures are taken:
• Only store gasoline in approved containers intended for this purpose.
• Keep any heat source away from spilled gasoline. Do not turn the engine on until gasoline fumes have evaporated.
• Always switch the engine off and allow it to cool before filling the tank. Never remove the fuel tank cap while
the engine is still hot or running. Never operate the equipment without the fuel tank cap firmly attached.
Replace the fuel tank cap slowly to eliminate potential internal pressure.
• Mix gasoline with 2-stroke oil and fill the tank in a clean and well-aired place, preferably outdoors and away
from sparks or flames. After switching the engine off, slowly remove the fuel tank cap. Do not smoke while
mixing gasoline or filling the tank. Immediately wipe any gasoline spilled on the equipment.
• Move at least 10 meters away from the filling place before turning the engine on. Do not smoke nearby and keep
the equipment away from heat sources.
• Replace the cap or the fuel tank if they are damaged.
