all nuts, bolts, and screws are tight.
• Check the covers and guards for damage
and correct fi t. Change them if necessary.
Changing the tines
The device is equipped with 6 choppers (7)
(2 single and 2 double), which are easy to
replace in pairs.
Always change both tine
pairs at the same time to
avoid damage to the equip-
ment from imbalance.
Switch the equipment off, unplug
it and wait for the tines (7) to stop
turning.
1. Pull the safety clip over the bolt (15)
and pull the bolt (15) out.
2. Pull the outer section of the chopper (7)
from the drive shaft (16).
3. Loosen the self-securing nut (AF 13)
from the hexagonal bolt (17) (AF 13)
and pull the inner section of the chop-
per (7) away from the drive shaft (16).
4. Clean the driveshaft (16) with biologi-
cal oil.
5. Slide the new chopper (7) onto the
drive shaft (16) in such a way that the
holes on the blade axis line up with the
holes on the drive shaft (16).
Make sure that the tines are
set to their proper turning
direction. The bevelled edge
of the chopper (7) must point
in the direction of travel of
the chopper (7) towards the
ground.
The direction of travel is
marked on the Equipment
housing with an arrow.

6. Slide the hexagonal bolt (17) through
the hole situated close to the gears (8)
and screw in a new self-securing nut
(contained within the delivery scope of
a new chopper).
7. Slide the bolt (15) through the outer hole
and fasten in place using the safety clip.
Mount the bolt's safety clip
(15) in such a way that it
closes against the travel of
direction of the chopper.
Transport
The Equipment features one transport posi-
tion and three working positions.
1. Firmly hold the Equipment with one
hand on the central bar (3).
2. To change the position, release the lock
on the chassis (18) by pulling on the ring.
3. Select the transport position (19).
4. To start work, switch to one of the work-
ing positions (20).
Storage
• Leave the motor to cool down before you
put the equipment into a closed space.
• Keep the equipment clean, dry and out
of the reach of children.
• Do not cover the equipment in plastic
bags as moisture may form.
Loosen the wing nuts (11) and fold
the handlebars (1+3) together, as
illustrated.
Ensure that the cables are not
jammed in the process.
Do not use the equipment
with the handle folded closed.
