SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read the warnings found in these instructions. They provide important information
regarding safety in installation, use and maintenance.
Keep this booklet for future reference.
After removing the packaging and before each use, check the mechanical integrity of the
appliance and all its accessories. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance. Contact a
qualified professional technician.
Keep all packaging (plastic bags, styrofoam, etc.) out of the reach of children, as they are
a potential source of hazard.
Before plugging in the appliance, check that the electrical data stamped thereon (see
technical data plate) are compatible with the electrical distribution grid.
If the plug and the outlet are incompatible, contact a qualified professional technician to
replace the outlet with a suitable one. Have the technician also check that the diameter of
outlet cables is appropriate for the power absorbed by the machine.
In general, the use of plug adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cables is not advised.
However, if these are necessary, use only single or multiple adapters, and extension cords
which conform to applicable safety rules, taking care to not exceed the load limits stamped
on the adapters and extension cords.
There are basic rules for the use of any appliance. In particular:
• do not touch the appliance with wet or moist or humid hands;
• do not use the appliance when barefoot;
• to unplug, grasp the plug and pull it from the outlet; do not unplug by pulling on the
electrical cord or the appliance itself;
• do not expose the appliance to atmospheric agents (rain, snow, sun, hail, etc.).
Before cleaning or performing any other maintenance operation, unplug the appliance, or
turn it off.
In case of breakdown and/or malfunction of the appliance, turn it off. Do not dismantle.
Contact an authorized dealer for repair. Request the use of original replacement parts.
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or if there are any signs of damages or
defects that may alter its functioning.
