Failure to comply with the provisions set out above may compromise the safety of the
appliance.
If the appliance will no longer be used, it is strongly advised that it be rendered inoperative.
It is especially strongly advised that any parts of the appliance which could be dangerous to
handle, especially for children who may consider it a toy, be rendered harmless.
At the end of the life cycle of the appliance, make it unusable by cutting off its power cable
after unplugging it from the power source. To dispose of the appliance, please follow the
regulations in force in the place of residence.
Appliance setup must be carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions. Incorrect
setup may harm persons, animals or objects; in this case the manufacturer will not be held
responsible.
To avoid dangerous overheating, it is strongly advised that the power
cord be completely unwound and that the appliance be used as
explained in this paragraph.
The power cord must not touch any sharp edges or corners, or any hot objects.
When the appliance is not in use, unplug it.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced. Contact an authorized dealer for
replacement of the power cord, because special tools are required.
The appliance must be kept at a distance of at least 60 cm from sinks, faucets and hot
surfaces and objects.
To clean the parts which touch food, do not use abrasive powders or harsh detergents. Only
use a soft cloth, moistened with water.
• Do not put the machine under running water to clean it.
• Do not put the machine or any of its parts in the dishwasher.
• The appliance is only intended for home use for the preparation of Espresso using Essse
Sistema Espresso capsules.
Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper, erroneous and
unreasonable use.
Before each use, check the mechanical integrity of the appliance.
