Troubleshooting
NOTE: Refer to the Service Parts section in this manual
for a detailed drawing showing the location of the parts
listed below.
Problem
There is no ow or a low
water ow.
There is leaking or dripping
from the shower when the
handle is closed.
The handle is hard to turn. The bonnet nut is too tight.
The shower head is
damaged when installing.
Possible Cause
Products are in compliance with EPA's
WaterSense Speci cation for Showerheads,
so the maximum ow rate value should be
below 1.8 gpm. Or consider the causes
below:

One or both water supplies are not
turned on.

The screen lter in the spray head
is blocked.

The grommets are not sealing properly.

The bonnet nut is not tightened
suf ciently.
The shower head is twisted too tightly.

Solution
Turn both water supply valves
to the on position.
Turn off the water supply at
angle valve and unscrew the
spray head from spray hose.
Clean the screen lter in the
spray head under running water.
Refer to the step 5.
Reinstall the cartridge.
Use wrench to retighten the
bonnet nut suf ciently.
Loosen the bonnet nut and
reinstall it. Do not overtighten.
Call Glacier Bay customer
service to request a replacement
shower head. Reinstall the
shower head. Do not use tools to
tighten shower head.
Hand-tighten only.
