BEFORE INITIAL OPERATION
Clean the unit before first use (see the section on
Cleaning & Caring for your Appliance).
After cleaning, plug the unit into its power source. Before
first using the appliance, allow 4 to 6 hours for it to settle
after moving it into place. The coolant fluid needs time
to settle and the oil needs time to flow back into the
compressor.
Then, after turning the unit on for the first time, allow the
appliance to cool for 3 to 4 hours before placing any food
into it.
