Fast Cooling:
This function is for the refrigerator's cooling compartment. Fast Cooling decreases the refrigeration temperature rapid-
ly and makes sure that food will be cooled faster than usual.
Fast Cooling will set the temperature of the fridge will be to +2 °C (35.6°F)automatically. After 3 hours, it switches off
automatically and the temperature of the fridge will be reset to the previous setting. During the Fast Cooling, the tem-
perature of the fridge cannot be changed.
To enable Fast Cooling, Press the
Mode
button repeatedly until the FAST COOLING indicator is lit. After a few seconds,
Fast Cooling mode will be activated.
Fast Cooling mode can be exited at any time by pressing the
Temp
button. The temperature of the fridge will then be
reset to the previous setting.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
Key Lock / Child Protection
This appliance is equipped with a key lock that prevents any accidental or unwanted changes to the settings. If the Key
Lock is on, no settings or modes can be changed on the appliance.
To turn on the Key Lock feature, press and hold the
Mode
button for 3 seconds.
The Key Lock indicator will light up on the Control Panel (see item 8 in the previous "Control Panel" section).
No settings or modes can be changed while this indicator is lit.
To turn the key lock off, press and hold the
Mode
button again for 3 seconds.
Door alarm
The appliance is also equipped with an automatic door alarm. If one of the doors is opened for more than 2 minutes,
a warning signal will sound. The signal will then sound three times every minute unless the door is closed. After 10
minutes, the alarm will stop.
To save energy and preserve food temperature, any prolonged opening of the doors should be avoided.
