MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical replacement
parts. Use of any other parts could create a hazard
or cause product damage.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
LED rapidly flashes, tool does not cycle Magazine is low or out of nails
LED slow flashes or no flash after pulling
the trigger (partial or no cycling)
LED continuous slow flashes after a fully
charged battery is inserted. (no cycling)
Tool operates properly, but fasteners do
not drive fully
Tool jams frequently
Tool will not drive a fastener or cycles
without driving a fastener
Nails do not drive properly
AFTER FRENCH AND SPANISH LANGUAGE SECTIONS.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Battery charge is low
Blade is not retracted properly:
jam in the guide
jam in drive system
Major tool malfunction
Nail is too long for wood hardness
Depth of drive is incorrect
Incorrect nails
Damaged nails
Loose magazine
Dirty magazine
Driving mechanism is dirty
Damaged drive blade or driver guide

CLEANING THE NAIL CHANNEL
See Figure 10, page 12.
If the tool will not drive a nail, or cycles without driving a nail,
glue residue from the nail strip may need to be cleaned from
the area around the driving mechanism.
„ Remove the battery pack.
„ Remove nails from the tool.
„ Using the hex wrench, remove the two bolts and drive
guide cover.
„ Use a small amount of air tool oil on a clean cloth or
cotton swab to wipe down the nail channel, removing all
traces of glue.
„ Inspect the driver blade and guide for any damage.
NOTE: Do not operate the tool if any damage is found.
„ Reinstall the drive guide cover and bolts, making sure
they are secure.
„ Reinstall nails in the tool and close the magazine.

SOLUTION
Load more nails in the magazine
Check charge levels or replace battery
Remove the drive giude cover, check for
jams or debris. Clear from driver guide.
Tool may need to resync the blade posi-
tion for nail.
Take the tool to the nearest authorized
repair center
Use nail length that is appropriate for
wood
Adjust depth of drive appropriate for
wood
Verify that nails are the correct size
Replace nails
Tighten bolts
Clean magazine
Clean the nail channel as described in
the Maintenance section of the manual
Take the tool to the nearest authorized
repair center
