OPERATION
DRIVING PIN NAILS
See Figure 7, page 12.
WARNING:
This tool is equipped with a dual activation trigger,
which will fire a nail every time both of the triggers are
depressed. Do not pull the dual activation system
unless the nose of the pinner is pressed against
the work surface. Accidental actuation will occur
and could cause serious personal injury.
The tool is shipped from the factory with a dual trigger
actuation system. The secondary trigger must be pulled
in order to pull the primary trigger. Each time the primary
trigger is pulled, the tool will drive a fastener.
Install the battery pack, activate tool.
Grip the tool firmly to maintain control.
Press the nose of the tool against the work surface. Pull
the secondary trigger.
Pull the primary trigger to drive a fastener.
Allow the tool to recoil away from the work surface as the
fastener is driven.
DRY-FIRE LOCKOUT
When the magazine has 0-10 nails remaining, the dry-fire
lockout feature will not allow continued operation.
The LED will flash rapidly when the last nail is used. It will
also flash rapidly if the Dry-Fire Lockout feature is engaged,
and the trigger is pulled. The tool needs to be reloaded.
To resume operation, remove battery pack and reload the
tool with nails.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the remaining nails.
LED WORKLIGHT
See Figure 8, page 12.
Press the secondary trigger while firmly holding tool to ac-
tivate the worklight.
DIAGNOSTIC FEEDBACK
The LED worklight provides feedback to indicate whether
the battery pack is charged sufficiently and/or if the tool is
functioning properly.
If worklight is flashing slowly and continuously, install fully
charged battery. If light continues to flash, see the Trouble-
shooting section for more information.

REMOVING A JAMMED PIN NAIL
See Figures 10 - 12, page 12.
Remove battery pack from the tool.
Open magazine and remove nails from the tool.
Using the hex wrench, loosen the two bolts and drive
guide cover.
Use needle nose pliers to remove the nail.
Inspect the driver blade for any damage.
NOTE: Do not operate the tool if the driver blade is dam-
aged.
Reinstall the drive guide cover and bolts, making sure
they are secure.
Reinstall nails and close the magazine.
Reinstall the battery pack, reactivate tool.
NOTE: Driving too deeply into the material, excess debris,
or jammed nails may lead to a driver blade being stuck at
its bottom position. This could also lead to damage of the
driver blade.
The driver blade can usually be returned to its operating
position by positioning the nose against a scrap piece of
wood and squeezing the trigger.
If the tool cycles without driving a nail, the nail channel may
be dirty. See Cleaning the Nail Channel in the Maintenance
section of this manual.
