ELECTRICAL OUTLET BOX
INSTALL MOUNTING BRACKET
To avoid possible electric shock, be sure electricity is turned off
at the main power box before wiring. All electrical connections
must be made in accordance with local codes, ordinances and/or
the National Electric Code. If you are unfamiliar with the methods
of installing electrical wiring and products, secure the services of
a qualified and licensed electrician as well as someone who can
check the strength of the supportive ceiling members and make
the proper installation(s) and connections.
Attach the hanger bracket to outlet box using screws provided
with outlet box. Install square rubber washer between bracket
and outlet box to reduce vibration of metal to metal surface.
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury,
mount to outlet box marked acceptable for fan support and use
mounting screws provided with the outlet box. Most outlet boxes
commonly used for the support of lighting fixtures are not
acceptable for fan support and may need to be replace. Consult
a qualified electrician if in doubt
INSTALLING THE FAN
This method is
prefered if the
ceiling is sloped
or valuated, or if
ceiling is extra
high
HANG DOWN STYLE
Slide the canopy and yoke cover on the
downrod. Thread the power leads from
the fan through the canopy yoke cover,
and downrod. Take extra care not to pull
on power wires damage and loose
connections could result from any
abnormal pressure on these wire. Set
downrod into yoke. Rotate until the holes
match. Be careful not to damage the
wiring insert connector pin through the
holes. Secure the pin by insert the stop
pin through the connector pin.

Secure the
outlet box
suitable for fan
support direct to
the building
structure. Wood
joist and outlet
box must beable
to support a
minimum of 50
pounds.
This method is
prefered if maximum
headroom is required.
The ceiling must be
horizontal.
