10.7 Belt tension check.

Check if both pulleys are perfectly aligned and if their axes are at an angle of 90
degrees with its axis of rotation.

Check the belt tension with a belt tension gauge. Doing a strength of 6Kg, the belt
should flex 10mm.
NOTE: The measurement is done by placing the meter on the central part of the belt
and doing a 90 degrees angle with the belt, according to the figure below:
10.8 Safety valve check.
Pull the ring when the compressor is at its nominal air pressure. Doing this action, the
valve should open and relieve the pressure.
Releasing the safety valve
ring, the air outlet is closed.
If the valve does not open or
not
close
properly,
should replace it for a new
one.
The
valve
opening
regulation is 11BAR.
DANGER: Never change or remove the safety valve!
