- Always leave at least 30 cm distance from the rear of the fan to the wall - danger of overheating!
- After use, switch off the power to the unit at the main switch (1).
- If you do not use the unit for a longer period of time, be sure to unplug it from the mains
Maintenance/cleaning instructions
- ATTENTION: Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply by unplugging the plug or swit-
ching off the electrical system before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work.
- Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet so that the operator can be sure that the plug is
unplugged at all times and in all locations.
- Routine maintenance must be carried out once a year.
- Check the mains cable and the mains plug for damage regularly, but absolutely before each
use. If damage is visible, do not use the device again.
- In case of damage, unusual noise and/or malfunction, switch off the device and do not
manipulate it.
- In case of necessary repairs, contact an authorized service center.
- Clean the surface of the housing and the protective grille with a dry cloth and a soft brush.
Do not use petrol or a similarly inflammable cleaning agent.
- After cleaning, the fan must be completely reassembled.
Storage
- If you are not going to use the fan for a long time, keep it in a dry room.
- You can also cover your unit to protect it from dust or dirt deposits.
Disposal
- Pull the mains plug!
- Dispose of the device properly.

Help with faults
Fault
Blade does not turn.
If the fault can not be remedied using the above listed remedies, then the plug has to be
removed from the socket.
A specialist must now establish the cause and carry out the repair work accordingly.
If the mains cable to this unit is damaged, then it can only be repaired by a repair workshop
named by the manufacturer, due a special tool being needed.
Note: Opening the unit and repairs may only be carried out by a specialist!
Cause
Main switch setting „OFF".
Speed setting to „0".
Mains plug not correctly in-

Household fuse blown/trip
defective.
Fuse has blown due to over-
load (motor overheating).
Remedy
Switch on main switch.
Switch on unit.
Insert mains plug.
