! Even if you change this setting, there is no
output unless you turn the non fading output
(refer to Using non fading output on page 42)
or subwoofer output (refer to Using subwoofer
output on page 41) in the audio menu on.
! If you change the subwoofer controller, sub-
woofer output and non fading output in the
audio menu return to the factory settings.
Switching the handsfree
telephoning
You can turn the handsfree telephoning on or
off in accordance with the connection of the
cellular telephone you use. When using the
handsfree telephone unit (sold separately), se-
lect HND-F:ON.

Press FUNCTION to select HND-F.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until HND-F ap-
pears in the display.

Press a or b to turn HND-F on or off.
Pressing a or b will turn HND-F on or off and
that status will be displayed (e.g.,
HND-F:ON).
Switching the telephone
muting/attenuation
Sound from this system is muted or attenu-
ated automatically when a call is made or re-
ceived using a cellular telephone connected to
this unit.
! When the handsfree telephoning is
HND-F:OFF, you can operate this function.

Press FUNCTION to select TEL.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until TEL appears
in the display.

Press c or d to switch the telephone
muting/attenuation.
Pressing c or d will switch between TEL :ATT
(attenuation) and TEL :MUT (muting) and that
status will be displayed.

standby
If you want to use the handsfree telephone
unit without playing other sources of this unit,
activate the telephone standby mode.
! When the handsfree telephoning is
HND-F:ON, you can operate this function.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until STDBY ap-
pears in the display.

Press a or b to turn STDBY on or off.
Pressing a or b will turn STDBY on or off and
that status will be displayed (e.g.,
