1. Pass the two central holes (A), placed in the lower part of BOBIKE
PONCHO, through the Bobike seats steel fixing rod ends (B).
To assemble the child seat and Poncho insert the two ends of the steel
rod (B) of the child seat into the corresponding holes of the mounting
holder. You will hear a slight click when the operation is complete,
and you will see that the ends of the steel rod (B) appear beneath the
mounting holder.
Having fitted the child seat to the mounting holder, conclude this stage
by inserting the safety ring in the hole at the end of the steel rod (B) -
only available on Go Mini and One Mini.
2. Place the child on the seat and make sure the child is securely restraint.

6. Open the zip in the upper part of BOBIKE PONCHO. It contains a rain seat
cover (D). The cape also features a rain cover hood (E).
How to Protect the Child from the Rain
6.1. Place the rain seat cover (D) over the head of the child, ensuring that
the rain cover hood (E) sits on their head correctly, with the cape wrapping
around their shoulders and covering the backrest of the seat. You can use
the hood with the helmet placed. Make sure that the child's face is not
covered.
7. Simply repeat the above procedure in reverse. Undo the restraint system
buckle (C1) and release the restraint system (C), open BOBIKE PONCHO,
folding out the front part towards the front and resting it on the handlebars,
• BOBIKE PONCHO can only be used with Bobike models: One, Go and
Exclusive (front seats for bicycles).
• BOBIKE PONCHO is an accessory designed solely to increase the comfort of
the child being transported on the bicycle, like a piece of clothing. It is not
a safety device. Its fastenings do not guarantee the safety of the child in the
seat. You must always strap the child in using the bicycle seat safety straps, in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
• All of the BOBIKE PONCHO buckles and straps must be correctly fastened
and checked before every bicycle journey, to make sure they don't interfere
with the wheels or get tangled up in the gears.
• Check that the bicycle works properly with BOBIKE PONCHO installed.

3. Make sure that the Poncho stays snugly fitted around the seat and child,
with particular emphasis to the legs, footrest and back of the seat near the
Bobike Holder and are not crumpled. Close BOBIKE PONCHO by placing the
front part over the child like a shell, to protect him. Make sure that the child's
face is not covered.
4. To totally close the Poncho use the restraint system (C) and fit it snugly
around the back of the seat. To make sure your child is safe, adjust the "C"
strap so that it is neither too tight nor too loose to cause discomfort to the
child.
5. The front part of BOBIKE PONCHO can be adjusted too. You can choose to
cover more or less of the torso of your child by folding down the upper part.
How to Protect the Seat from the Rain or Snow
6.2. Close BOBIKE PONCHO as you would do normally and make sure you
tie up the restraint system (C) on the back of the seat, to ensure they do not
hang down and get tangled up in the wheels.
When it's raining or snowing, you can protect the inside of BOBIKE PONCHO
and the seat using the rain seat cover (D). Extract the cape (D), wrap it around
the backrest of the seat, then close the rain seat cover buttons (F) to tighten
the cape (D) around the edges of the backrest. Fold the rain cover hood (E)
away inside the cape.

• Check to ensure that BOBIKE PONCHO does not slide forwards or to one side.
• Make sure that the child, their clothing and BOBIKE PONCHO are not
coming into contact with any of the bicycle's moving parts.

• Make sure the child is suitably dressed for the weather at hand. BOBIKE
PONCHO gives added protection against cold and wind, but must not
replace standard seasonal clothing. Check on the comfort of the child
regularly, to ensure that they're not too hot or too cold.
• Ensure that BOBIKE PONCHO isn't covering the child's nose or mouth.
• Ensure that the child is wearing a comfortable, safe helmet.
• Do not make any alterations to the product.
