Notes on handling batteries
• The battery must be removed from the remote control before it is disposed of.
• Only use batteries of the same type.
• The batteries must be inserted correctly.
• Remove dead batteries from the device / remote control.
• The supply terminals in the battery compartment must not be short-circuited.
• Environmental aspects must be taken into account when disposing of a battery.
Used batteries must not be thrown in the trash. To protect the environment, contact
your dealer or an appropriate collection point for disposal.
• Batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
• Replacing a battery with an incorrect type can override the protections (e.g. with
some lithium battery types).
• Disposing of a battery in a fire or in a hot oven, mechanically crushing or cutting
a battery, or exposing a battery to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like
can result in an explosion.
• Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature environment may result in an
explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep
it away from children.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the device/remote control before
charging.
• If the device / remote control is stored and will be out of use for a longer period of
time, the batteries must be removed.
WARNING
Danger of injury! Make sure that children do not swallow the battery. If
the button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns
and death in as little as 2 hours. Keep new and used batteries away
from children. If you think batteries may have been swallowed, seek
medical attention immediately.
