5.3. USING THE MEAT MINCER
EN
WARNING: Always use the meat pusher provided. Never put your fingers
or utensils in the feeding tube.
Remove any bones from the meat (pork, beef, lamb, etc.), cut the meat into 2.5 cm
strips or cubes.

Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
Insert the helix (26) into the mincer housing (27) (FIG. C1).

Insert the mincer blade (25) into the helix (26) so that the hole in the blade is aligned
with the square nut on the helix.

Cover the mincer blade with the perforated plate of your choice [fine (16), medium
(17) or coarse (18)], making sure to align the 2 notches on the rim of the perforated
plate with the tabs in the mincer housing.

Put the locking nut (24) and tighten it clockwise by hand to lock the assembly in the
mincer housing (27).
Remove the front cover (6) to access the mincer coupler (FIG. C2).

Press and hold the release button (7), firmly insert the assembled mincer housing
(27) into the mincer coupler with the feeding tube pointing at the 2 o'clock position,
release the release button (7), and turn the feeding tube anti-clockwise until it clicks
into place on the 12 o'clock position (FIG. C3).
Put the meat tray (29) on the feeding tube (FIG. C4).

Put a plate under the exit of the mincer.
10. Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical outlet. The indicator light on the Speed
knob will illuminate to indicate the appliance is on.
11. Turn the Speed knob (3) clockwise to start mincing, select speed "1" – "3".
12. Put the meat strips on the meat tray (29) and use the meat pusher (28) to add and
slowly push the meat down the feeding tube (27) into the mincer.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the mincer for more than 5 minutes continuously as
the motor may overheat. Let the appliance rest for a few minutes before mincing
again. Do not exceed 15 minutes of use.
13. Once finished using the appliance, return the Speed knob to "0" (Standby) and
unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet to turn it off. The indicator light on the
Speed knob will turn off.
14. Remove the meat tray (29).
15. Press and hold the release button (7) and turn the mincer housing (27) clockwise to
remove it from the appliance.
16. Clean the appliance and accessories (> CLEANING AND CARE).
17. Close the front cover (6) when the mincer is not in use.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the grater/slicer for more than 5 minutes continuously as
the motor may overheat. Let the appliance rest for a few minutes before grating or
slicing again. Do not exceed 15 minutes of use.
18. Once finished using the appliance, return the Speed knob to "0" (Standby) and
unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet to turn it off. The indicator light on the
Speed knob will turn off.
19. Press and hold the release button (7) and turn the grater/slicer housing (23)
clockwise to remove it from the appliance.
20. Clean the appliance and accessories (> CLEANING AND CARE).
21. Close the front cover (6) when the grater is not in use.
