Before first use
1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
3. Thoroughly clean the shelf and pot using hot water, washing up liquid and a non-
abrasive sponge.
4.Wipe inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
This is an oil free fryer that works on hot air – do not directly fill the pot with oil or
frying fat.
Note: When heated for the first time, there might be slight smoke or an odour – this
is normal with most heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your
appliance.
Preparing for use
1. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and even surface.
Do not place the appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
Do not fill the pot with oil or any other liquid.
Do not put anything on top of the appliance – the airflow will be disrupted and
affects the hot air frying result.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Hot air frying
1. Connect the mains plug into an earthed wall socket.
2. Carefully pull the pot out of the air fryer (Fig. 4).
3. Place the shelf in the pot (Fig. 5).
4. Put the ingredients on the shelf (Fig. 6).
5. Slide the pot back into the air fryer (Fig. 7).
Never use the pot without the shelf.
Caution: The pot gets very hot – do not touch during or straight after use. Only hold
the pot by its handle.
6. Determine the required preparation time for ingredients (see section 'Settings' in this
chapter).
7. Some ingredients require shaking halfway through cooking (see section 'Settings' in
this chapter). To shake the ingredients, pull the pot out of the appliance by the handle
and shake, then slide the pot back into the air fryer.
Tip: Set the timer to half the preparation time – when it rings, it's time to shake the
ingredients. Make sure you set the timer again for the remaining time.
8. When you hear the buzzer, preparation is finished. Pull the pot out of the appliance.
Note: Hold the power button for two seconds, then you can switch off the appliance
manually.
Tip: You can adjust temperature or time according to your preference during use. Your
settings will be kept for about 60 minutes after you take the pot out.
9. Check if the ingredients are ready.
If the ingredients are not ready, slide the pot back into the appliance and set the timer for
a few extra minutes.
